R.I.P computer

Well, I'm typing this on a university computer because my own one has died, and unlike all the other times it died my magic touch has failed to restore it.
Because I have access to various computer labs on campus this isn't so much of a problem, but I will be blogging less because it feels weird using campus computers for this. That's unless you want to read my chinese blog where I won't be feeling so bad as blogging in Chinese counts as study in my opinion.
These are the papers I'm taking this trimester:
  • STAT193 (Statistics in natural and social sciences)
  • CHIN101 (Chinese language 1A)
  • COMP205 (Software engineering and design)

All very fun right now. All looking like they could suddenly make me very busy at a moment's notice. In fact the lecturer for COMP205 referred to the programming lab as "your new home away from home"

On April the 10th I will be beginnign my first visit to the land of China. I'll be staying about 2 weeks in Shenzhen. My friend from Shanghai hasn't given up trying to dissuade me with warnings that people in Guangdong province would corrupt my Mandarin into something abominable but seeing my girlfriend doesn't live in any of the other provinces except during holidays I'm better off risking it.
